In early 2016, it was recognised that many female community members were unable to participate in an aquatic environment where males were present, whether for social, cultural or religious reasons. In 2017, the City of Canning introduced the opportunity to provide women of all ages and abilities to experience swimming and aquatic recreation in a private, social and supportive environment together. Swimming and gym sessions begin from Sunday, 14th October.
