Christmas (17)
There is something special about the look and smell of a real pine tree at Christmas. If it is something you have always wondered about, then you will be surprised just how easy it is.

Below are some of the places you will be able to find an authentic Christmas Tree this year and you can collect from as far south as Bunbury and Mandurah, all the way up to the Swan Valley and Joondalup.

Tips for keeping your tree fresh
Remember to put your cut tree in water as soon as possible and to top up daily with fresh water (you will be surprised how much water they consume).

Trees should be stood in a large bucket filled with sand or rocks to ensure they do not fall over. Many of the tree farms will sell suitable pots to keep your tree fresh and upright.

Cut trees tend to last around one month (up to six weeks) so you should ideally be purchasing your tree in the two weeks prior to Christmas, although you can often reserve trees beforehand.

Some businesses will even deliver a freshly cut tree to your door and pick up the dead tree in January.
