Below are some of the best gated playgrounds in Perth as recommended by members. As we all know, gated playgrounds are essential for small kids who like to run. If they happen to be near a café or have other great features, then we like them even more.

Hobart Street Park, North Perth
Other names: Hobart/Auckland Street Reserve
Address: Corner of Hobart Street and Auckland Street, North Perth

Facilities: Shaded in summer, local playground, plenty of grass, across the road from the Hobart Street Deli. Drinking fountain but no toilet in park.

Facilities: Musical and sensory play, climbing, sand play, seating, tree top walk, slides. large local playground. Limited street parking.

Facilities: Includes water play, sand play, huge flying fox, enormous volcano that spews smoke, separate area for toddlers, picnic tables, free BBQs. Free public toilets nearby in Pool complex. Highly rated, large regional playground.

Entire park to undergo enormous upgrade and extension, due to be complete October 2016.
