If you’re fond of frozen yogurt you should check out the Fremantle Tutti Frutti store. It’s located at 4/19 Essex Street which puts it round the corner from the Millennium Cinema and a short walk from Fremantle’s famous Cappuccino Strip .



I’ve been noticing more and more Tutti Frutti stores have been popping up in Perth over the past couple of years. I’ve been in quite a few of them and I really think that the one in Fremantle is the best. I keep going back to it every time I’m in Fremantle because it’s just so pleasant.

It’s a lot bigger than most of the other Tutti Frutti stores I’ve visited. When you walk in it’s really the first thing you notice. There’s just so much space. There are lots of places to sit and two large TV screens on the walls. I like how the chairs match the shops colour theme of red, green and yellow. The large pictures of fruit on the walls are a nice touch as well.

Here’s how Tutti Frutti works: you pick a cup and then fill it up with your choice of yogurt and then add some toppings and then you pay based on how much it weighs. One of the things I love about Tutti Frutti is the great selection of yogurt flavors they have. You have your usual flavors like banana, vanilla or chocolate but then you have some really interesting ones like Gummy Bear Sorbet or Milo.



What really makes the Fremantle store stand out for me is its selection of toppings. They have the typical selection of fruits and chocolates and sauces and nuts and sprinkles that you can find at any Tutti Frutti store located at a serving station the middle of the shop (I always stop there for nuts and chocolate sauce). But they don’t stop there.



There is also a large bank of candy dispensers attached to the wall on the right hand side of the shop. All you do is put your yogurt cup underneath, twist the knob and a sprinkle of lollies will fall out. It’s great!



After you’ve finished your frozen treat why not go for a walk and explore the Fremantle Markets or take a stroll through the Esplanade Park? There’s lots to see and do in Fremantle.
