Move, listen, sing, learn!

Turanga Music is the perfect way to engage your kids in music, whether it be for the first time or as a booster to their instrumental learning for aural and music theory.

This program has been specially designed for ages 4 and up by Lynne Loo, a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Classical Music program. Lynne has taught piano, trombone, music theory and aural to children and adults for several years, and she is passionate about fostering a life-long appreciation of music within children.

Turanga Music is focused on holistic teaching methods with lots of movement, participation, listening, and singing – not the traditional rote learning of the 'olden days'! Through careful guidance and thoughtful, fun activities, children will gain a deep understanding of music and develop a well-trained musical ear and mind. The activities are structured in such a way that kids will develop their skills and knowledge without realising just how much they are learning.

When: Every Saturday in September (1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd) from 10 - 10.45am

Where: Bull Creek Community Centre (same building as the Public Library), corner Hassell Crescent and Leichhardt Street, Bull Creek, 6149

Price: Classes are $20 per child and registrations for all 4 classes in advance will receive a 10% discount.

There is no lock-in commitment to classes. Feel free to either drop in on a week-to-week/casual basis or book in advance to secure your spot. There will also be a holiday program during the mid-Semester break – please enquire here for more information.

Book Lynne for your playgroup or child care centre:

If you would like either casual or regular sessions for your playgroup, child care or homeschool group, please do not hesitate to contact Lynne directly.

Group lessons can be held at any location of your choosing as long as the space is suitable for the activities. Props and equipment will be provided by Lynne.
