Turanga Music is the perfect way to engage your kids in music, whether it be for the first time or as a booster to their instrumental learning for aural and music theory.
This program has been specially designed for ages 4 and up by Lynne Loo, a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Classical Music program. Lynne has taught piano, trombone, music theory and aural to children and adults for several years, and she is passionate about fostering a life-long appreciation of music within children.
Turanga Music is focused on holistic teaching methods with lots of movement, participation, listening, and singing – not the traditional rote learning of the 'olden days'! Through careful guidance and thoughtful, fun activities, children will gain a deep understanding of music and develop a well-trained musical ear and mind. The activities are structured in such a way that kids will develop their skills and knowledge without realising just how much they are learning.
