Transport your kids back in time to when the T-Rex was king of the world at Triassic Fun Park in Canning Vale. This dinosaur-themed indoor play centre is absolutely packed full of things for kids to do, as well as a large dining area and café for parents.
Triassic Fun Park in Canning Vale.
There are a total of six different play areas (that I counted) within the centre, and the main play structure is a three-storey plethora of Triassic world twists and turns, ropes, ladders, slides, swings and of course, dinosaurs.
The main play structure.
On the bottom level of the play structure is a great little ‘racing’ track with cars and trikes for kids aged one to three. Parents can push the cars around (slowly) if required and there are working traffic lights and street signs to obey.

To the side of the main play area is a chill-out zone where children can play video games for a few minutes before getting back into the action. There is a dedicated toddler area for kids aged three and under, and a baby area with age-appropriate toys.
The toddler area.
The toddler area is a multi-level, padded mass of cushioning and soft surfaces. There is a rather dark alcove underneath the structure, so try not to lose your children under there. Just be aware of older kids (here and in every other play centre) who don’t always obey the age rules and do forget that tiny tots are a little more fragile.
Relax at the café.
Children aged five and older can also participate in Black Light Mini Golf, a glow in the dark putting experience, although there are extra costs involved to participate. You can also take (most of) the stress out of children’s birthday parties in one of three themed rooms – The Dinosaur Kingdom, the Pirate’s Den and the Fairytale Room.
The three-storey structure.
The café is a haven for parents needing a little break while the kids play. Along with great coffee, they serve a range of muffins, sandwiches, hot meals and snacks and drinks. There are also high chairs available, along with change facilities.
Come in and enjoy all things dinosaurs.
Entry fees for kids aged one to three are $8.50 on weekdays and $10.50 on weekends. For kids four and over, weekday fees are $10.50 and $12.50 on weekends. Children aged 12 months and under and adults are free to enter.
Kids of all ages can enter free on Wednesdays between 9:30am and 10:30am and for just $5 on weekdays after 3:30pm.
Triassic Fun Park is a mammoth day of indoor fun for kids of all ages, and a great place for parents to relax, even for just a few minutes.
This production of The Jungle Book relies strongly on physical theatre, from a young ensemble, and will incorporate puppetry, poetry, and animation, creating an eclectic style of theatre true to itself.
