Minnawarra Park is linked to Armadale’s Minnawarra Historic Precinct and is a simply lovely place to visit. It has a gazebo, bridge and seating, plus is in close proximity to the cafes along Jull Street.

History House Museum

History House Museum tells the story of the people and historical events that have shaped Armadale, from the arrival of European settlers to the present day. There are a number of exhibitions on show, along with objects, artefacts and displays.

Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum
Address: Located at Armadale Vistor Centre, 40 Jull Street, Armadale.
Opening hours: Museum open weekdays from 9am to 4pm and weekends from 11am to 4pm.

The Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum is home to a collection of rare twentieth century engines, including a large woodworking bandsaw used in the Western Australian ship building industry in 1876. The Museum also contains a replica Post Office with an early telegraph and other communications equipment. Every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm, the Museum holds Morse Code demonstrations, where the kids can learn to send a telegraph message.

Armadale Settlers Common in Bedfordale is 383 hectares of bushland that contains a huge array of flora and fauna, including many rare species, which can be observed year-round form the network of walk trails. It is the perfect spot for walking and hiking, orienteering, nature appreciation, picnicking, exercising and even photography.
