To celebrate the release of the LEGO Ninjago Movie on Thursday, 21 September, Whitford City is hosting the LGEO Ninjago Immersive Zone – try the Ninja Height Challenge and build the tallest LEGO, take on the Ninja Nun-Chuck Training, manoeuvre the LEGO Ninjago steeple chase or just take it easy with some free building time.

Week one is Creature Crafts, including Design Your On Butterfly, Bird, Bug or Bee. Week two is the Emoji Shrinky Dink Workshop, in which kids can create their very own emoji.

School Holidays at the WA Shipwrecks Museum, Fremantle Dates and times: Saturday, 23 September to Sunday, 8 October between 10am and 2pm
The WA Shipwrecks Museum will play host to a heap of free pirate-themed activities these holidays, including storytelling and paper-craft. Come dressed as your favourite pirate! Some activities will incur a fee of $2, so check the website for more information about which activities are free and which are not.

Okay so it’s not technically free, as entry is by gold coin donation (surely you’ve got a couple of dollars down the back of the couch?) but it will be worth every cent to see the delight on your child’s face when they come face to face with a gorgeous little baby animal in Market Lane. Come and cuddle a lovely selection of cute animals, including chickens, ducklings, bunnies, guinea pigs, lambs, kid goats, piglets and, depending upon availability, a calf, alpaca, or miniature horse.
