Coffee is the universal fuel of parents. Perth parents are lucky to have so many cafes who welcome us and our offspring with open arms, and Perth Mums Group has been on a mission to seek out the best. If you’re headed to the CBD with your children in tow, here are some of the best child-friendly cafes.

Isle of Voyage, Elizabeth Quay - NOW CLOSED

Zamia Cafe
50 May Drive, Kings Park, Perth
Open for breakfast and lunch daily

This gorgeous café is located close to the May Drive Parkland , making it a lovely spot to take the kids. Zamia has a children’s breakfast and lunch menu and change facilities.

Stickybeaks Café is a favourite for Perth parents due to its close proximity to the Ivey Watson playground, which has a dedicated baby and toddler area, along with the area for older kids.

City Farm Cafe

Tucked away in East Perth is City Farm Café – as the name suggests, it’s a café in the city on a very small farm, which has a chicken coop to amaze the children, plus lots of space to run around.

Blacksmith Café, Highgate

Blacksmith is a true child friendly café located in Highgate, just 2km from the Perth CBD. It has an awesome kids play area, with a giant sandpit full of toys, chalkboards and a cubby house. It’s a great place for a coffee or breakfast while the kids have a play.
