Slate Café has a small adventure playground, large grassed area and giant chalkboard! It’s also dog-friendly too and even has a doggie park! They have a kids’ menu and offer chidren’s parties. Slate Café is open on weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm and on weekends from 8am to 4pm.



Whistlers Chocolate Factory, Middle Swan

Mmmmm….chocolate! Along with selling some of the most delicious treats in Perth, Whistler’s Chocolate Factory also has a café with a huge outdoor area for the kids. There’s a giant chalkboard, sandpit with toys and various balls to kick around. You can read the Perth Mums Group review here .

Aggies Ice-Creamery is one of Perth's favourite spots for delicious home-made Italian gelato, but they also serve coffee and have a playground for the kids! Sounds pretty child-friendly to me!

This gorgeous cake and macaron factory in the Swan Valley has a large outdoor area and a kids’ cubby house with slides, making it an ideal spot for a coffee and macaron or other French goodies while the kids have a play.

Pink Salt Wholefoods Café is child-friendly for so many reasons! There is a children’s play area and toy box inside the café, another toy box outside, along with lots of space for the kids to run around, plus they also run school holiday activities!
