Toddler-friendly cafe with a playground just a short walk away.

Today, my hunt for toddler friendly coffee took me to the river at the Canning River Cafe . With its gorgeous surroundings, beautiful trees and wide open spaces, it's an excellent place to take the littlest members of the family.



Canning River Cafe serves light breakfasts and lunches, along with cakes and other sweet treats. I had the most delicious savoury muffin, it was simply divine. The four of us enjoyed our snacks and drinks at a very reasonable price.

There is plenty of seating and space for prams, lots of shade and high chairs available. The table service was quick, which is awesome for mums with small children. The twins loved their Babycinos and I enjoyed my cappuccino while breathing in the beautiful surroundings.



The cafe is not only kid-friendly, but dog-friendly as well. You can purchase a snack for your pooch while you order a coffee, then sit back and rest while your pet has a drink of water.

There are abundant parking spaces and toilet facilities, however I didn't find a change table. The boys absolutely loved chasing the ducks after lunch, and walking across the gorgeous bridge.

There's a small playground not far from the cafe as well for the kids to burn off that energy.
