Becoming a mother, whether it's for the first, second, third or fourth time, is a learning curve.

A new support service for parents and babies aged six weeks to 12 months has opened in Perth's northern suburbs – [Link http://www.glengarryprivate.com.au/Our-Services/Early-Parenting-Centre ].


The Centre has been purpose-built to help parents overcome common, early parenting challenges such as sleep and settling, feeding, reflux, colic and parental exhaustion.

With five single rooms with ensuites, a communal lounge and dining area, and individual baby sleep pods, provides expert support in a comfortable, nurturing and intimate environment.

Parent and baby will reside at the Centre for 4 nights, with a program that includes a paediatric consultation upon admission, personalised support from nurses experienced in maternity, child health and infant development, and group education sessions on relevant early parenting topics. Specialist referrals to psychologists and psychiatrists can also be arranged if required.

Admissions are covered by private health insurance, dependant on the policy and level of cover.
