I visited the Cuddly Animal Farm in 2014 and can’t recommend it enough. Located 37 minutes from the Perth CBD in the Swan Valley, this quaint little farm offers a lot more than your usual petting zoo experience. It costs $18 for adults and $13 for children aged over 2 to enter the farm (under twos are free) which is great value for money considering how much there is to do.

Once inside you can freely explore the grounds entering paddocks and pens feeding and petting the animals. Children will love the supervised feeding sessions which are held each day.

At 10.30am and 3pm children can participate in bottle feeding piglets, lambs, kids, or calves and at 11.30am there is a goat milking demonstration.



Other activities include a playground, tractor rides, pony rides ($5 per child), a bouncy castle, a merry-go-round, free tea and coffee for adults and there are BBQ and picnic facilities available.

The Cuddly Animal Farm welcomes schools to come to the farm on excursions and has a specially designed program aimed toward kindy to primary school aged children that runs at a cost of $11 per child that promises a fun filled day and a unique learning experience about farm life. The farm is also available to be booked for playgroups for groups of 10 or more at the special cost of $13 per head for adults and children (under twos free).

The Cuddly Animal Farm is also available for birthday parties. A catered party costs $33 per child and has minimum booking of 12 children. The package includes entry to the farm for each child plus one adult accompanying them, a catered menu, and a small gift for the birthday child, pony rides, invitations, interaction with the animals and use of the undercover play area for 3 hours. The self-catered party option costs $20 per child and is a minimum booking of 12 children and is the same as the catered option except it is BYO your own food. To book a party click here.
