Your child can regain the happiness and confidence they have lost.

More children and young people are being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and anxiety in Australia than ever before. Symptoms of these conditions can make it hard for our young people to find focus, confidence and happiness in their life.

The B Mind Fit Institute is a Malaga-based service providing transparent support to children and young people aged 7 to 25 years who are struggling with symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, gaming (screen time) addiction and social anxiety.

Founder and counsellor of 17 years Robert Cannella first-hand experience of ADHD symptoms, having been diagnosed with ADHD 26 years ago at age 24. ADHD is a particular area of interest at The B Mind Fit Institute, with the centre priding itself on its methodology for successful outcomes, continued research into ADHD and application of affirmative mentoring.

Robert will work with families and caregivers alongside allied health to separate symptoms from maladaptive behaviours and instil confidence back to young people.

As an outcomes-based service, The B Mind Fit Institute aims to help young people experiencing difficulty with education, employment, relationships or family stability due to ADHD and anxiety.

Each tailored, individual approach focuses on quality-of-life improvements using a number of techniques. These are designed to make positive changes, such as talking therapies, physical activity, plus digital and tabletop gaming as tools to increase dopamine levels. This in turn leads to focus and increased engagement with a typically reluctant client.

Teenagers and young adults will learn meditation and breathing techniques to regain a sense of calm during times of anxiety.

Robert is registered with the Australian Counselling Association, adhdWA, Fitness Australia. He has a Working With Children check and is CPR First Aid trained.

Our young people don’t have to suffer alone or in silence. With a little bit of help, they can feel happier, less anxious and back on track with life.
