We have all been there: our child has spotted Santa across the shopping centre and insists on stopping to talk him. Today! Regardless of the fact there are twenty five kids already waiting in the queue.
The icecream is going to melt, and you know someone is going to try and sell you expensive photos, but you stand in the queue for thirty minutes only for your child to freak out at the last minute and run away in terror.
You can book a session with Santa as an individual or a small group of up to four children. If you have a large family, or suspect your kid has a Christmas Wish List the size of one of the last Harry Potter books, then Santa’s Little Helpers recommend you book a double session.
Kids are welcome to stay and ride the special Santaland Express after their visit
Santa has special sensory sessions available for kids with special needs and Santaland is wheelchair and pram accessible.
This year, you can also visit Mrs Claus, and listen to her read some special Christmas stories. She will be visiting all the Myers (Perth, Karrinyup, Garden City and Joondalup), although her times are more limited than Santa (I guess someone has to do all the work while Santa sits and chats).
Having the support and friendship of other mums who are living the same experience is important for the well-being of every mum. Here are 7 reasons to join a real-world mums group:
Visiting Santa is free, but you can choose to purchase photographic packages starting at $27.50 for two prints (or take pictures on your phone like everyone else).
Santa visits begin on the 18th of November and go right up to Christmas Eve but you can book now. There are up to 45 sessions available a day – from 9.00am to 8.45pm (depending on opening times). Simply choose your preferred day and select your session time.
You will be asked to provide your name, email address, number of children and your mobile number, but that is simply so they can send a (very helpful) reminder text the day before.
Being able to book and see Santa at a time that suits you is a great idea for busy parents, but you should book early to get your preferred time. If you miss out, no worries, as Santa will still be able to see walk-ins with no appointments, you just might have to wait a bit though.
