A lovely playground in Gosnells with things to do for all ages.

The City of Gosnells has recently redeveloped Robinson Park in Gosnells, and the park now features an updated playground, adjacent sports field and off leash dog area.

My children are aged 5.5 and 3.5 and they had a great time at this park, which features largely nature-based play, plus swings, plenty of spaces to climb, and areas for the family to relax while the kids run around.

The playground is fully fenced, which is always handy for families with toddlers and little runners. There are toilets just outside the fenced area - also handy for families with young children!

At the heart of the playground is a rope-based climbing frame with multiple play areas and a toddler slide. Next to this is a rope pendulum swing, which older kids at the park seemed to enjoy. There is also another, smaller climbing structure at the top of the hill, near the fence.

There is a birds nest swing and a separate set of four swings, two of which have toddler seats, plus a see saw and mini see saws, and a roundabout, which was definitely a drawcard for the younger children at the park.

There are little ‘rock climbing’ type structures, which are great for challenging children of around 4-6 years. The park also features musical instruments including drums and a standing xylophone.

If you want to make a day of your visit, there are public gas barbecues to use and undercover picnic tables.

Robinson Park also has an adjacent sports field which is great for kicking a footy around, plus you can take your dog for the off leash dog exercise area, although I’m fairly sure dogs are not allowed in the play area.

The park features a basketball half-court, plus an extensive path network - perfect for walking with a pram, plus bikes and scooters.

When we visited in summer, most of the park was covered with shade sails, although some parks do remove the shade sails in the cooler months.

Overall my children loved this playground and we will definitely visit again. There was something to do for all ages, plus it features great amenities for families with young children.
