Learn to crochet and make new mummy friends!

Are you looking to find a new hobby, to reignite that creative spark, and to make new friends?

The Perth Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Perth mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!

During this 3 hour class in Maylands, Baldivis, or Kingsley, you'll be guided by professional instructor Sandra, who can help you learn from scratch if you're a beginner. Sandra also hosts a range of workshops for the more experienced to try and learn new skills. Each workshop focusses on a different type of stitch.

The beginners class is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn the crochet basics and terminology and we'll get you started on your very own granny square.

Those who have done the beginners class or have prior experience with crocheting can come along to the Crochet Stitches Class, Corner to Corner Class (C2C) or Grantastic Square Class and learn how to make three amazing crochet stitches; Puff, Shell and V-Stitch.

Looking for something a little different? Why not try Amigurumi for Beginners? Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small cute creatures. It's the latest craze in the crochet world!

Learn step by step on the basics of Amigurumi and start on an easy project during the class. Jellyfish Amigurumi classes are also available.

Amigurumi classes are recommended for those with basic level of crochet knowledge.

You are also most welcome to bring your baby and toddlers along (or not!) if they are happy to sit and entertain themselves.

All our classes include crochet materials and instruction as well as a non-alcoholic drink during the class.

All mums with an interest in crochet (whether you have been to a meetup or not) are also invited to join the Perth Mums Crochet Club Facebook Group where you can share your crochet projects, find inspiration, make mummy friends, and also just have a good yarn!
