A fun, weekly playgroup that is set to take children and their parents on a weekly adventure!
How would you like to help inspire your child’s imagination through fun activities, while you both meet other local families in the Tapping area?
Little Doves Playgroup is a fun and free way to take your little one on a weekly adventure through story-time, song, arts and crafts while socialising with other parents and children.
This new early literacy program is being piloted by Collinson Library at St Stephen's School in Carramar from Term 3. The aim of the program is to welcome young families from the local community to join them in their love of story and rhyme.
Parents, carers and children are welcome to book their place in the Little Doves program, which is named after the Dove in the School’s crest. Although part of a six-week program, guests can book week-to-week to fit their schedules.
The program is ideal for children aged up to four years, and will run every Thursday between 15th August and 19th September in the Collinson Library from 9am. All families booked into the program will have access to the library’s borrowing facilities.
Little Doves will finish with a lovely Teddy Bears Picnic in the School’s sprawling grounds.
Guests are asked to register their interest in each session via trybooking to allow for planning weekly activities accordingly.
“A St Stephen's School education encourages children to imagine, be curious and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the world,” Principal Mrs Donella Beare said.
Little Doves Playgroup will be the perfect way to spark children’s inquisitive nature, learning language and communication skills in a social setting.
