Leapfrogs is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, coffee or snack before a morning or afternoon of mini golf.

Located at the Wanneroo Botanic Garden is Leapfrogs , a cafe and bar where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee and cake before hitting the delightful mini golf course on the same site!



And this is exactly what the family and I did one morning. We stopped by for breakfast prior to a game of 18-hole mini golf, which is also in the gardens and the last hole will take you right back to Leapfrogs.



The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of room for families with prams, and they do provide high chairs if required.



I settled on a serve of the Free Range Eggs on toast before the ‘big game’ of golf. I had actually ordered the toast with strawberry jam but felt I needed a hit of protein, so the staff readily changed my order before it got to the kitchen.



Breakfast is served until 11:30am, and lunch kicks in at midday. The breakfast menu has plenty of choices for all tastes, including vegetarian and gluten free and a couple of items for the kids. They have an extensive range of hot and cold drinks, including juices and milkshakes.



The lunch menu has a number of starter and share-type plates, plus burgers, pasta and three choices for the kids, which are pasta, nuggets and chips or a cheeseburger. Dinner is served Thursday to Sunday, which also includes wood fired pizza, which also comes with gluten free choices and bases if requested.



The eggs arrived quickly and the coffee followed shortly after. The coffee and food were delicious, with my two little ones tucking into the poached eggs and sourdough toast. I found the staff were friendly and keen to help.



Leapfrogs is open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays, except for public holidays. You can book online here . There are toilets and change facilities onsite.



Once we had finished it was time to take on the mini golf course! We left Leapfrogs well-fed and happy with the food and service and it was the just start of a lovely family day out.
