Easily one of the best venues for families in Perth!

Tucked away in the quiet acreage of Oldbury lies King Road Brewing Co , the ULTIMATE child-friendly dining destination. If you want dining where the kids will literally amuse themselves while you wait for food, this is it.



King Road Brewing Co has a huge playground for the kids featuring play equipment, a bouncy castle, sandpits, a fort, climbing spaces - even at boat! Oh, and the food is pretty good too.



The brewery has an indoor dining area and massive outdoor space, which is where you want to sit if you are dining with kids. There's plenty of space for a pram too.



This was my second visit with the kids, and they love all the different things they can do. We went for a family birthday and once we found our table, they were off.



There's no table service, so you have to order and pay for your drinks and food at the bar inside, and pick it up from the counter when ready, which is fine given the size of the place! There is often a line to order, but it does move quickly.



The menu features a range of favourites including starters and share plates, steaks, burgers, salads and delicious wood fired pizza, which I couldn't go past.



My family and I ordered a range of meals, including the meatlovers pizza, calzone, chicken parmigiana, the KRB Beef Burger, plus a couple of kids meals.



There are plenty of options for the kids, including the usual nuggets and chips, spaghetti bolognese and a grilled chicken salad, and all are served with a drink and icy pole.



Along with wines, spirits and soft drinks, the brewery serves up their own beers and ciders.



Dragging your children away from the playground to eat, or leave, will be your biggest challenge. With several different play spaces, rope play, old vehicles to sit in and lots to explore, they will be set for a great afternoon of play!



There is also a sandpit with shade, situation in the middle of the outdoor area, for the youngest members of the family. There are lots of toys, so they will find plenty to do.

Overall I was impressed with the outdoor area and the fantastic family-friendly facilities, plus the food, of course! Book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
