Kindy or Daycare?

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to Australia and not sure about its rules regarding kindy/daycare.

So, I've got a 3yo who is currently going to daycare 4 days a week. She will turn 4 in August and I know that's when you normally start kindy. At her daycare they have a kindergarten program, but what do you think. Leave her at daycare until prep?? 🤷 Or switch to kindy?

And what exactly is the difference between daycare and kindy?
