If you are one of the many Perth families who head south over the New Year, only to find yourself with kids saying 'I'm bored' then keep reading.
Not only will you win points by taking them along to award-winning icecream shop Simmos in Dunsborough, but you will also earn yourself the title of parent of the year by letting them loose on the pop-up event of the season: Kids Kerfuffle.
Kids Kerfuffle is a 500m obstacle course which will test the stamina of even the craziest kids! There will be a giant water slide, net crawls, tyre runs, tunnels, climbing challenges and bubbles galore! Think of how well they will sleep.
The Perth Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Perth mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
Sessions run for an hour, and you can do as many laps of the course as possible in the hour! Make it a challenge, race each other, race the clock.
Tickets cost $20 per hour if you register online prior to the day, or $25 if you register online on the day, or if you pay at the door. Family tickets (family of four, any combination) are $80.
Thanks to Kids Kerfuffle, Perth Mums Group will be giving away two family passes valued $80 to readers. Check below for more information and visit our Facebook page to enter.
Kids Kerfuffle is recommended for children aged six and above, and for kids between 6-12 an adult needs to be present for supervision (adults at kids prices), while kids 13-18 require parental consent.
Kids Kerfuffle will be set up on the huge grassy area behind Simmo’s Icecreamery in Dunsborough, Commonage Road.
It opens January 4th and will run for at least a week – but if it is busy they will stay open all summer holidays. Check the website for the latest updates and information.
Runs start on the hour, every hour, from 10am – 4pm daily and you can book your tickets online before you even leave home. How many icecreams will you be able to eat in an hour while the kids go nuts on the obstacle course?
