If you want to impress your kids these school holidays, take them on a journey 65 million years into the past and introduce them to some Jurassic Creatures.

Inside the new Crown Pyramid at Crown you’ll discover a palaeontologist's dream come true - an interactive walk-through event which is fun and educational for the whole family.

Enter and you’re greeted by a colossal T-Rex, which moves and roars like the real thing. He’s also life-sized, standing at 20 metres tall and eight metres long.

Wear flat shoes because it's at this point you’re going to lose sight of your children. There’s so much to do and see they’re going to run in every direction.

Hidden in the jungle you’ll find dozens of animatronic dinosaurs plus prehistoric creatures from the ice age. Their size, sounds and movement are so lifelike even the adults are left awestruck.

Alongside each animal is a fact board listing interesting detail about them.

Children can also get hands on, taking part in activities, like becoming a palaeontologist, putting on an outfit complete with goggles and digging for fossils. At another station, they can build their very own dinosaur skeleton.

Slide your way through the dinosaur's jaw

There’s a bouncy ice castle, inflatable dinosaur slide, rollercoaster, merry-go-round and dinosaur train. You also might just get snowed on when you’re stepping back in time to the ice age.

Along with hot donuts, fairy floss and dagwood dogs you’ll wonder how they’ve fit it all inside the Crown Pyramid.

Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty from the Flinstones even put in an appearance with a stage show which gets the kids moving with some dancing and singing.
You’ll also need to watch out for a dinosaur who might get loose during the event.

Jurassic Creatures runs until Sunday, 30th April at Crown Pyramid Burswood and tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Don't forget to enter our Jurassic Creatures competition, which runs until 5pm on Thursday, 13th April.
