For those of us who are ‘plus size’ (ie. anyone larger than a size 14) the range is admittedly limited, especially for sizes 16-18. For everyone else, the range is eye watering. But with new dresses arriving every week, Glam Corner are hoping to double their collection by mid-2016 (and hopefully broaden their plus size range as well).

I had only one question: How do you know if the dress will actually fit?

To take the guess work out, you can use their Try On Service – simply choose two dresses to try on for only $30 (no postage fee). You keep them for a day to try on at your leisure, and return them - with tags on - within 24 hours.

They also offer a fit guarantee – if the dress doesn’t fit or you just don’t like it, then you can return it with the tags on within 24 hours and they will either send you a new dress (or different size) at no extra cost, or refund your money.

I found the user reviews useful – other customers rate the dresses and how well they fit based on body shape and size. It’s like bringing a friend along to the change room with you.



Getting ready for a big event is made as easy as possible – all you need to do is find a babysitter.

You can hire accessories such as fascinators, handbags and jackets, and buy little helpers (such as shapewear) and jewellery. Not sure what dress to try on? Call or email the team of stylists, or if you are really stuck you can book a one-on-one chat with a stylist who will call you at a time of your choosing, and talk you through the process of finding the right dress for your next event.

Hire fees range from $59 to $479 (for an exclusive Hermes dress), with most of the dresses under $200, and the price includes return postage, dry cleaning costs and $100 insurance in case of accidental damage.

There is an extra fee of $7.95 to cover delivery costs (not for the try on service) and the dresses arrive boxed and wrapped carefully.

Glam Corner offer their service to Perth women, and can deliver anywhere there is a mail box or PO Box. Dresses will arrive within 2-3 days, so it is best to check with the stylists when you should book the dress to ensure it arrives in time for your event.
