Winter Lights

Wednesday, 3rd July to Saturday, 13th July
Brookfield Place will transform the precinct with a brand-new showcase of light installations, projections and entertainment to brighten the winter gloom in the CBD.
This year, the program is bigger and brighter, featuring world-famous installations and thought-provoking sculptures from local and international visual artists, many never seen before in WA.
Brookfield Place’s award-winning restaurants and bars will also put on a show, with special extended festival trading hours, kid-friendly menus and food trucks.
Kids School Holiday Club, Mount Hawthorn

Monday 15th to Friday 19th July
During the second week of the holidays, Mount Hawthorn Baptist Church will host the Mounty Kids Holiday Club for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Over five fun-filled days from Monday 15th July to Friday 19th July, children will enjoy a range of games with great prizes up for grabs plus bible stories, craft activities and more.
All volunteers have Working with Children's Cards and Police Clearances and Child Safe Policies are in place.

Barnyard Bible Club, Padbury

Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th July from 10am to 12pm
A free lineup of fun activities for children, such as singing, games, arts and crafts.
There will also be a special Bible story with a Barnyard theme.
Little Huckers Disc Golf
Chichester Disc Golf Park, 109 Trappers Drive, Woodvale

Wednesday, 10th July and Wednesday, 17th July (and every Wednesday)
Disc Golf is a sport that is suitable for all ages and abilities, and it’s free to take part!
Some discs will be provided, or you can purchase your own. Parental guidance is required, but children will be guided by West Coast Disc Golfers.
The sessions include a run through of drills, followed by a game.

Frozen Kids’ Night at the Left Bank
The Left Bank, East Fremantle

Tuesday, 9th July at 5pm
The Left Bank is hosting a special “Frozen” themed Kids Night!
It's a perfect start to the school holidays, and there may even be a visit from Elsa!
There will also be face painting, arts and crafts, and everyone is welcome to dress as their favourite Disney character!
Kids eat free with every full price main meal purchased from 5pm.

Arctic Chill Zone, Cockburn Gateways

Monday 8th July to Friday 19th July from 10am to 2pm daily.

The Arctic Chill Zone, located in front of Big W, features a snow storm entry, winter plunge ball pit, a ski lift augmented reality photo opportunity, icicle toss and winter-themed craft activities!
The activities will run from 10am to 2pm daily and are all free.
The Greatest Showman FREE Movie Event

Saturday, 6th July at 6:30pm
A FREE, family-friendly screening of The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman!
There will be free popcorn, free photos with miniature pony Teddy and a free workshop from ZAP CIRCUS.
The event will also feature Canning Show exhibits demonstrations, community organisations, entertainment and food.

Cartoon and animation workshops for little artists!
These free workshops are hosted by Toonworld and will empower children to get creative.
Suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Teach Your Child First Aid
Meerilinga High Wycombe, 104 Edney Road, High Wycombe

Tuesday, 9th July at 10am-11am (under 8s) and 11am-12pm (under 11s)
St John Ambulance offers FREE first aid training to children, so they know what to do if they are faced with a first aid emergency.
Meerilinga High Wycombe will host two First Aid Focus events for children.
The Under 8 group will learn when, who and how to help in an emergency.
The Under 11 group will learn principles of first aid, DRSABC, the recovery position, managing external bleeding and burns management.
Parents must stay on the premises during the course.
