Optus Stadium is hosting Perth’s biggest Christmas Festival…and it’s free!

Optus Stadium will be transformed into the city’s biggest Christmas Festival in November and December, with plenty of free entertainment, Christmas markets, a visit from Santa and even festive photo opportunities!

The Christmas Festival will take place over four huge nights on the following dates from 4pm - 8:30pm:




There will be no silent nights here in the lead up to Christmas. Bring the family along to enjoy a free Christmas movie on the lawn and check out the BHP Amphitheatre’s new big screen! Christmas classics will be shown at 5:30pm every Sunday of the Christmas Festival. Schedule coming soon!

Santa Claus is also stopping by for a visit! Change up your traditional Christmas family photo and make this year one to remember with a photo in Optus Stadium.

Santa will visit the stadium on Saturdays and Sundays between 9am to 2pm from Sunday, 24th November to Sunday, 22nd December.

Photo times will be available to book in advance, along with walk-ups on the day depending on availability. Booking details announced soon.

What would a Christmas Festival be without markets? With over 50 specialty food trucks and gift stalls, you’ll be spoilt for choice with delicious food and drinks all evening long and no excuse to leave your Christmas shopping to the last minute! Sorry - turtles doves and partridges in pear trees unavailable.


Watch the sun set over the Swan River and Perth city while enjoying a refreshing drink from the new pop-up bar and be entertained by live music and roving entertainers.



Optus Stadium will be transformed into a beacon of Christmas cheer every Sunday of the Christmas Festival, with the stadium and Arbour's twinkling lights the perfect back drop for the Christmas Markets.

Getting to the festival is easy. Free parking is available on the Northern Oval (excluding Sunday, 8th December) and Marlee Lawn or you can catch the train to the stadium via the Armadale Line.

You don’t need a ticket to enjoy the free festivities. Simply pick a date, head to the Facebook event page and select ‘going’. Too easy!

Bring the family for a magical evening of fun and see a very different side of Optus Stadium in the lead up to Christmas.
