Things to do

Kalbarri Skywalk

One of Kalbarri's newest attractions is the Skywalk, which is located in the Kalbarri National Park, on the cliff-top over the Murchison Gorge. Walk along the skywalks and take in the breathtaking views, learn about the culture and heritage of the traditional owners through signage and artwork, plus there are local fauna statues to observe and read all about the 400 million year old sandstone that makes the gorges.

The pathways are easily accessible for prams and wheelchairs, and there are toilets and shelters, plus undercover seats and a kiosk. Kalbarri National Park entry fees do apply.

Kalbarri Mini Golf and Putt Putt

Who doesn't love a game of mini golf? Kalbarri Mini Golf and Putt Putt is a 18 hole mini putt course offering fun for the whole family. There is also a spider web climbing tower, arcade games, bike hire, tea and coffee available and ice cream.

Adventure Playground

Located at the river foreshore on Grey Street, Kalbarri's adventure playground promises loads of fun for the littlest members of the family. It features a flying fox, lookout tower, log steps and plenty of nature play, plus picnic tables and options for food and drink close by.

River Cruises

Take a guided river cruise and see what the Murchison has to offer. You will see wildlife, birdlife, marine life and so much more, plus be informed by your local skipper. For more information, see Kalbarri Wilderness Cruises and Reefwalker Tours and Charters.

Kalbarri Rock Lobster Tours and Charter

If your kids love fishing, a fishing charter will be the highlight of their holiday. The family can take part in a rock lobster pot pull tour, sunset tour or a fishing tour.

Horse Riding at Big River Ranch

Who knew you could go horse riding in Kalbarri? Big River Ranch offers daily horseriding and is suitable for beginners, right through to more experienced riders. You can take a 1.5 hour that includes walking, trotting and a canter along the river. There are also 20-minute pony rides available in the mornings for young children (weighing less than 30kgs.)
