Beach, fun, warm summer nights, picnics on the beach, concerts and festivals are all part of our Perth summers and The City of Stirling are commemorating 10 fun years of bringing to the community free and affordable events with 2018's Summerset Arts Festival.

The kids will be taught how to find and identify fingerprints, locate stray hairs and fibres, identify footprints and other marks, and investigate blood stains, bones and DNA.

At Surge Fitness they provide complimentary and structured programs for age groups ranging from 4 to 13 years of age, with different time slots throughout the week.

Kids can enjoy a range of free activities which include wall climbing, face painting and Australia Day crafts.

Kings Park and Botanic Garden offer a fantastic Skyworks vantage point from the approved lawn areas.

The carefully curated festival will offer a plethora of hot food, baked goods, handcrafted gourmet products, local produce including WA honey, beer and wine plus so much more.

There will be Imagination Free Play for the kids who just want to sit and build whatever they want.

The Big Splash WA dolphin trail will have 35 to 50 life-sized dolphins located in iconic locations around Perth.

It will feature local music bands, DJs, there will be drinks to buy, and it is one of the better spots in Perth to watch our fantastic sunset in the west.

There will be more than 100 circus, cabaret, comedy and theatre stars, along with the effervescent gypsy funk and hillbilly bands.

Held over three weekends from 27 January, the Festival offers a mix of Australian and international cinema, live music, food and drink in the beautiful surrounds of the Cottesloe Civic Centre.
