Dreambabyョ Bath Products Enhance Bath Time Safety

by BecSorby (follow)
Babies (90)
As a first time mum with a one-year old daughter, I知 highly conscious (and somewhat paranoid) about her safety around the home.

I知 always looking for products that are not only safe, but are actually useful too.

As many parents can appreciate, I知 particularly careful around water, so I needed a product in which I could safely transition Olivia from the little plastic baby bathtub to the 礎ig bath without any hiccups.

Crab
These cute critters are a great safety product for the bath.

Dreambabyョ Watch-Your-Stepョ Heat Alert Anti-Slip Bath Mats are an easy way to practice safety around bathtime. The marine life shaped appliques are textured and stick easily to the bottom of the bath, providing a bit of traction for avoiding falls.

They also change colour from dark blue to pale blue, to indicate that the water is too hot, although parents should still check the temperature before placing children in the water.

The mats change colour if the water is too hot.

Just be sure to follow the instructions (unlike myself) and clean and wipe down the bath before applying, as the appliques need at least several hours, but preferably a full 24 hours, to adequately stick to the surface. Unfortunately I got a bit ahead of myself and tried to stick a couple to a slightly wet surface before reading the instructions, but luckily the adhesive is strong enough to survive my mishaps, and I later re-applied them to a dry surface no harm done!

Easily peel the appliqu駸 and stick to the surface.

Olivia likes to stand in the bath, so the mats were helpful in avoiding a fall, plus she seemed to enjoy playing with them and hearing the names of each animal.

Dreambabyョ Watch-Your-Stepョ Heat Alert Anti-Slip Bath Mats can also be used in the shower recess and they come in a pack of ten. They are generous in size, and should be placed about 2.5 inches apart. They are also easy to remove from the surface.

As well as being conscious of Olivia slipping over, I知 also acutely aware she could hit the taps or spout during a fall. She also likes to stick her little fingers up the spout and play with the taps, which is why the Dreambabyョ Bath Tub Spout Cover is not only a great way to help avoid bumps and bruises, but potentially avoid accidental scaldings.

The Dreambabyョ Bath Tub Spout Cover can help avoid little bodies bumping into the spout.

Dreambabyョ Bath Tub Spout Cover Whales is a durable plastic cover for the spout featuring a cute whale design. It痴 easily inflatable and will cover any standard spout. It didn稚 take long for Olivia to notice it, and she did remove it very easily. I popped it back on, but she seemed to enjoy playing with it and took it off again.

It fits easily onto standard spouts.

Although I didn稚 turn on the taps while Olivia was in the bath, I did test it after she was out, and it did help reduce the flow of water spilling out of the tap. It痴 a great idea for baby-proofing the bath and as long as it stays on the spout while she痴 moving around, it gives me great piece of mind about her safety as she learns to navigate around the big-girl bath.

Cover
Olivia decided the spout cover was also a great bath toy.
