A regional attraction that is part petting zoo, part theme park!



The Margaret River region is located 3 hours from Perth. It spans from Bunbury to Augusta and is a popular destination for tourists who want to go surfing, visit the local wineries, try some chocolate, or just soak up some sunshine. If you’re visiting the area with kids you should check out the Country Life Farm.



Located 40 minutes from Margaret River and 25 minutes from Busselton, the Country Life Farm is part petting zoo and part theme park. Kids can get up close to chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks and guinea pigs and feed them carrots from a bucket. The goats, donkeys and alpacas will happily meet you at the fence for a chin scratch and a handful of food.



If you arrive at the farm and it is raining don’t fret! There is a huge indoor playground that has ball pits and slides and a climbing structure that will keep older kids entertained for hours. There is also a toddler play area that has lots of age appropriate toys that will keep younger kids happy. Adults can sit and rest their feet and enjoy a free tea or coffee. Don't forget your socks.

When the weather is fine you can try out the Merry-Go-Round, the BBQ area or dodgem cars, or even take a boat ride or try out their giant bouncy castle which is big enough for adults and has a huge inflatable slide on the inside!

It costs $18 for adults and $16 for children over the age of two to enter the farm (under twos are free). The entrance fee covers the cost of all activities except for the dodgem cars which are a small additional fee. The farm is open 7 days a week from 9.30am to 5pm.
