Child-friendly coffee with a drive-in service too!

When I saw a giant sign advertising a new coffee shop and 'drive thru' just a few minutes walk from my house, of course I was curious.

The best part for me, however, was three little words written on the sign – “Kids Play Area.” I was always going to go and check the place out, but that sealed the deal.



You cannot miss Coffee Sisters on Wentworth Parade in Success – the café is made up of two big black shipping containers stacked on top of each other, with the words “COFFEE SISTERS” written on it.



You can either stop in for a coffee and bite to eat or pull into the carpark and someone will come out and take your order – it’s not a traditional ‘drive thru’ but works in the same way.

I stopped in the other day after our morning walk and ordered a coffee. I eyed off the range of cookies, cakes and muffins in the cake cabinet but decided my post-baby waistline will thank me later. They also serve breakfast and lunch.



I thought about ordering a cookie for my little girl, but once she spotted the play area, she was off. There is a cute cubby house with games and toys inside, including a giant bowling set, which looked like fun. There are hoola hoops, toddler bikes, a kitchen and accessories and other bits of pieces.

The café itself is quite interesting – the tables are made up of old cable drums and umbrellas. There are a stack of high chairs if you need one.



The coffee itself was delicious – I’ve since been a few times for takeaways and each time it has been spot-on. They are pretty quick with the drive-in orders too. Even if there are a heap of cars waiting they do get to everyone in good time.

You’ll find a range of raw treats and snacks, plus salads and wraps, granola bowls, French toast and lots of other delicious breakfast, lunch and morning tea items to choose from.



The only drawback I could see was the open gate, which leads out from the café onto Wentworth Parade, which isn’t great for toddlers. Luckily my little girl was too interested in the play area to notice, but I’m sure if this was a concern they would close the gate for you, as there is access via the car park. The staff have been very friendly each time we’ve visited.



If you need a coffee on the go on your way to work or want to have a chat with friends while the kids have a play, Coffee Sisters is one to check out. The coffee doesn’t disappoint and the kids can have a play in the sunshine.
