Do you like the idea of your kids building their own tablet or smartphone apps and games, instead of just browsing and playing them on your phone all Easter school holidays?
It’s no secret that technology and apps have become an integral part of our lives, but now Code Camp is giving Perth kids the opportunity to discover more about this intriguing world of coding at one of their three or four day camps.
Children will create and build their very own game from scratch, learn about user design and even gain knowledge about the psychology behind user experience. Sound pretty cool, huh!
The Perth Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Perth mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
The Easter School Holiday Code Camp program will be held across Perth from Monday, 3rd April to Saturday, 29th April 2017. The three and four day camps are held at various school-based locations and the Code Camp Spark program caters for children in years two to seven.
Some 15,000 students have already built their own game and discovered the art of coding through Code Camp. The coding and game development skills that children will learn can be adapted to any role in any industry.
At the end of the camp, every single child will have developed an app that works on multiple devices and will leave with their very own, self-created game they can show off to their friends and family!
Your child will be well taught by professional, knowledgeable teachers and leaders who are enthusiastic about coding and helping your child reach their game development potential.
Code Camp will provide all devices and software, although parents are asked to pack morning tea, lunch, a hat and sunscreen for outdoor play, and a water bottle.
If you think your child would love the opportunity to develop their very own game, send them along to Code Camp and let their creativity and passion for technology run wild.
