Most mums have a list they keep up their sleeve in case of weather emergencies – places to go when it is too hot, too wet or otherwise too unpleasant to let kids play outside.
Chipmunks Play Centres are located across Perth – from Whitfords and Wanneroo in the north, to Cockburn, Port Kennedy and Mandurah in the south and Kelmscott in the east.
Chipmunks are relatively new play centres and as such they are fresh and clean. They are also award winning with Chipmunks Whitfords winning the ‘Best Playcentre in WA’ and Chipmunks birthday parties winning the BuddyBuggys prize for ‘Best Party Provider’.
The Perth Crochet Club meets fortnightly to learn crochet, meet other Perth mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
Chipmunks offer unlimited play, so you can stay for an hour or you can stay all day. All centres are air conditioned and have baby change facilities, cafes and plenty of seating for parents.
Each of the six play centres are different, but all accommodate children from one to eleven with separate play zones for different age groups. Each centre offers a dedicated toddler zone and all have an enormous inflatable Chipmunks slide.
Some of the activities kids will find include: small and massive slides, climbing frames, spinners, trampolines, ball pits, obstacle courses and air cannons.
Anyone entering the play zones must wear socks – this includes adults who are supervising their children. If you forget to bring your own you can purchase some Chipmunks socks at a very reasonable price.
