If you were a fan of the Subiaco Craft Collectibles and Community fair which used to operate from the grounds of UWA every October, then you will love the upcoming Brunch on Roberts, a new and quirky market event with a vibrant mix of pop up cafes, market stalls, and live entertainment.

With more free entertainment for children (and free entry for anyone under 15 years), this all day market will be taking place on Sunday March 20th in Market Place Park (on the corner of Haydn Bunton Drive and Roberts Road in Subiaco).

Children will have their own dedicated playground, Punch and Judy shows, clowns and jugglers plus a special garden rumoured to have fairies and elves.

You can even bring your furry kids – there will be a mobile grooming area in the Canine Club area plus a dog show and edible treats to buy for your pooch.

The range of stalls will include an eclectic mix of handmade crafts, gourmet foods, vintage and retro home wares and a book stall. For the first time there will be Suitcase Alley: a whimsical exhibition of small craft and homeware vendors whose goods must be displayed in a suitcase.

Pulling out all the stops, Brunch on Roberts will appeal to sophisticated shoppers and bargain hunters alike, as well as those who like to get around with a gourmet coffee in one hand and an artisan bagel in the other.

Families will be able to enjoy a relaxed and tasty breakfast from a range of local restaurants, with pop-up carts and cafes (some licenced) while sitting down in the beautifully designed dining areas and listening to a full program of jazz and other performers.

For the crafty types there will be a ‘crafternoon’ revolution with a range of crafting workshops on offer.

Entry is $5 with all proceeds to supporting the charitable works of Rotary Club Matilda bay and other Subiaco charities. All entrants (including kids) will receive a free raffle ticket into the hourly draws.

There is street parking in the area, or you can walk a few minutes from Subiaco Train Station.
