Below are some of the restaurants in Perth with great kids menus, with some contributions and suggestions by Perth Mums group members.

Obviously the list doesn't include all the awesome spots in Perth, but this is a great place to start. Remember to always do your own research and make sure the venue meets your personal needs.

Central Perth

Jamie’s Italian, Perth

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 11:30am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30am to 11pm, Sunday 11:30am to 9:30pm.

This uber-cool kids menu includes two sizes – little kids ($9.50) and big kids ($12.50) and offers selections for the discerning little diner such as fresh king salmon, a picnic box, mini burgers and chicken lollipops. Wow.

Lot 20, Perth

This menu only has two choices – the ever-popular fish and chips and a cheeseburger with fries, but it is served with a 100 per cent organic juice with no added sugar or preservatives, plus each meal comes with a kids activity pack.

Market City Tavern, Canning Vale

With a huge eight menu options for kids that includes a kids’ sized steak, grilled chicken breast with veggies and homemade pizza, the Market City Tavern not only caters for every taste, but at $12 for a kids meal (including a pop top juice and activity pack) it’s also great value.

North of Perth

The Alexander Pub, Ballajura

You’ll find four options on this kids menu, including spaghetti and meatballs for $10 and ham and cheese pizza for $12, which includes an activity pack

Carine Glades Tavern

For just $9.90, your kids can choose from one of 12 (yep – 12!) kids menu items, plus a side and a drink. The menu items include chicken schnitzel, chicken parmi, steak and pasta.

Ikea, Innaloo

After 5pm from Monday to Friday, you can buy a kids meal (generally just a smaller version of adult-sized meals) and a drink for just $2.70, making this easily the cheapest kids meal in Perth. Alternatively, for a measly $3.50, you can purchase a snack pack, which includes a sandwich, fruit strap, popcorn and a soft toy.

East/Perth Hills

The Guildford Hotel

With Southern Fried chicken tenders and a mini green tomato sanga among the kids options available, the Guildford Hotel’s kids menu has a little bite for every taste. All kids meals are $12 and include a drink, chips and salad.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays are the best days of the week to visit the Mundaring Hotel with your little ones – kids meals are only $2 when purchased with an adult meal! Bargain! Options include bangers and chips, nuggets and cheeseburgers.

Outback Jacks

All Outback Jacks kids meals are a meagre $8.95 – including a free ice cream! Options include sausage on a stick, steak, fish filled or pork ribs, and most are served with the option of chips or mash potato.
