Fawn Meets, a community-driven initiative by the founder of 20Talk, is an exciting new Perth-based parenting community created for parents raising teens aged 12–20.

Today's teens are growing up in a vastly different world from previous generations due to the rise of social media, exposure to global issues, and constant technological advancements.

As a result, parents can feel powerless and isolated as they try to navigate the challenges that their teen may be dealing with, such as anxiety, cyberbullying, gaming addiction, drugs and alcohol, and self-harm and suicidal thoughts.

But parents don't have to do it alone, after all - it takes a village to raise a child!

The Fawn Meets community is peer-led, non-judgemental, and grounded in honesty and shared experience - no ‘fixing’, just real connection.

Fawn Meets members are matched in small local groups to meet once a month and share stories, reflect, and grow together.

Importantly, the meeting topics are thoughtfully designed to offer practical advice while fostering meaningful reflections on conscious parenting.

Topics may include:
+ How to set boundaries around technology while encouraging healthy habits and balance
+ How to support your teen through anxiety, depression, and other challenges with confidence
+ How to foster trust, avoid conflict, and keep conversations open and productive

To ensure support is always within reach, the Fawn Meets platform also offers access to a private community space with an AI Parenting Chat, a live group chat with fellow parents, and an 'Ask the Community' board for real questions and shared advice.
