My little three month old had developed a slight flat head on his left side (only really noticeable from a birds eye view of his head). He has torticollis and is seeing a physiotherapist to help him to face right more easily. He does lots of tummy time during the day and now does his stretches and exercises from physio as well. I spend all day trying to keep him from putting pressure on his head by carrying him and trying to keep him off his back and out of bouncers, car seats and prams. The problem is that he sleeps 12 hours straight at night and he will only face left. Even if I turn his head in his sleep, he will turn it back within a few minutes. I have been told by some that the flat spot will correct its self before he is one and others have said it will continue to get worse. My questions are:
1. has anyone had this slight flattening on their babies head?
2. If so, did it correct over time or did you need to intervene?
3. If you needed to intervene, what did you do and where did you go in Perth?
