How do you reform a slob? I have tolerated it for many years and can't do it anymore. When I have brought things up in the past I'm met with anger, comebacks or small changes that don't last. I have tried a chore roster, gentle reminders, leaving the mess where it lies and nothing seems to work. We are a one income family and whilst I don't have a problem doing my home duties it extends to the weekend and 24/7. There is never any initiative or care taken cleaning up after himself or helping clean up after the kids. Wet towels on the bed, dirty clothes left lying where ever they are taken off, dirty plates and food left out. The list is so long that I don't know what to tackle first. I wake up and just want to cry because I'm surrounded by his mess, leaving is not an option. Looking for practical ideas on how to housetrain this manchild. Thank you
