Happy New Year Perth Mums and families! As we enter the third week of the school holidays, you may have some New Year’s Eve plans to welcome in 2017. If not, check out our list of family-friendly NYE events in Perth.

Once we ring in 2017, here are some activities for the third week of the school holidays.

Discovery Zone – State Library Exhibit

Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures Exhibition, Perth
Date: Every day from 10am until Sunday, 15th January 2017.
Address: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mounts Bay Road, Perth.
Cost: Adult $31, kids/students $19, family $80 plus any booking fees.

Duyfken Replica Tours, Elizabeth Quay, Perth

Date: Wednesday to Sunday from now until Sunday, 2nd April, 2017.
Address: Elizabeth Quay, Perth.
Cost: Adults $12.50, concession/seniors $10, children four to 16 years $5. Not suitable for kids under four.

Dark Universe at Scitech, West Perth

North of the River

The Urban Roller Club, Sorrento Quay

Arts and Sustainability Workshops, Osborne Park
Date: Tuesday, 3rd January to Friday, 6th January 2017 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Cost: $90 per child for one day or $300 per child for the four-day period.

Cirquest runs the Circus School for the Young and Young at Heart. Learn how to tumble, juggle and so much more! Suitable for kids aged five to 15 years.

Bricks4Kids Lego Workshops, Karrinyup
Date: Wednesday, 4th January to Friday, 6th January 2017 (plus later dates).
Address: Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Davenport Street, Karrinyup.
Cost: $90 for a full day, $50 for a half day.

Do your kids love building brick masterpieces? They will love these Lego workshops held at various shopping centres around Perth during the school holidays.

The Velveteen Rabbit, Fremantle

Little Big Art and Comics Club, Fremantle
Date: Friday, 6th January 2017 from 10am to 12pm (Little Big Art) and from 1pm to 3pm (Comics Club.)

These unique art classes are a great way for kids and adults to make art together. Learn new skills and unleash your creative sides! Alternatively, if your kids love comics, they can make their very own comic!

Junior Dance, Amherst Village Public Library

Suited for kids aged six to nine, Junior Dance is a fun way for kids to play, boogey and interact with other kids while learning some cool new moves.

Activities at the Fremantle Markets
Date: Wildlife Zoo every Friday until Friday, 27th January 2017.

East and Swan Valley

Bike riding, laser tag, mini golf, museums….there are oodles of things to do in the Swan Valley during the school holidays.
